We are a full service salon meeting all your cut, color, and style needs.

 

I love my job and I love my clients.

I wanted to give myself and most importantly my clients a place that gives a feeling of home. A place where you fully relax; get away from work and stress, and just be yourself. Many of you who know me, know I take my Irishness (if that is a word!) very seriously. I wanted to create an atmosphere of an Irish pub. I think we have accomplished that. The salon is very cozy and welcoming to people of all ages. I hope that everyone who walks through the door will feel at home, and I know for sure that they will leave feeling beautiful! Our Team

Katie Hummel

I am a life long resident of Beaver. I am a 1998 graduate of Beaver High School. I went to one year at Clarion University, then I decided to go to Beaver Falls Beauty Academy. I graduated and got my license in 2000.  I started my career at Regis Hair Salon at the Beaver Valley Mall and met many wonderful stylists and learned a lot from them. I have worked at Sharp Edges in Brighton Twp, and that salon was so fun I knew I wanted to have a place of my own one day. In the summer of 2008 I opened my own place, The Salon on 3rd. I have continued my education with classes from Redken, Matrix, Farouk, Framesi, Kenra, Wella and Rusk instructors. I love being my own boss, I love having my business in my home. Sometimes a dog may come and visit you while you are getting your hair done, and my husband will always be around for “girl talk” and to ask you if you want him to make you dinner, or offer you a beer. We try to have a very welcoming salon that makes you feel like you can come in, put your feet up and be yourself. I am an easy going control freak! haha…is that a thing? I am a big personality, but I love listening to people and learning new things. Jake and I have 2 dogs, and we love to read books and go to OBX, watch movies and spend time with our families. 

Sara Broskey

I have been a hairstylist for 14 years.  I graduated from south side high school and attended the beaver county vocational school for cosmetology from where I graduated in 2006. I started my career at Regis salons and worked there for almost 14 years. I started working at The Salon on 3rd in September. I am blessed to have worked with many talented stylists and have learned a lot over the years.  I look forward to a long time career at the salon on 3rd.
